To prep the Rune.ini for server administration:
1. Locate the Rune.ini file at the top level of the Rune folder
2. Make a backup copy of the Rune.ini file
3. Open Rune.ini file with SimpleText or your favorite text editor
4. Locate '[Engine.GameInfo]' (line 337)
5. Change ' AdminPassword= ' to ' AdminPassword=yourpasswordhere ' (line 346)
6. To enable remote administration via the web, locate '[UWeb.WebServer]' (line 576)
7. Change ' bEnabled=False ' to ' bEnabled=True ' (line 582)
8. To set a password for remote administration via the web, locate '[RuneServerAdmin.RuneServerAdmin]' (line 587)
9. Change ' AdminPassword= ' to ' AdminPassword=yourpasswordhere ' (line 589)
10. To enable monsters for multiplayer, locate '[RuneI.RuneMultiPlayer]' (line 531)
11. Change ' bNoMonsters=True ' to ' bNoMonsters=False ' (line 532)
12. Save and close the Rune.ini file

To log in as Admin and kick or kickban:
 1. Press the Tab key ('type' command) or use the ~key to pull down the console
2. Type ' adminlogin yourpasswordhere '
3. If successful, the message "yourplayername BECAME A SERVER ADMINISTRATOR" will appear
4. To kick, type ' kick playername '
5. To ban, type ' kickban playername '
6. If successful, the message "playername HAS LEFT THE GAME" will appear
7. A list of banned IP addresses exists inside your Rune.ini file under '[Engine.GameInfo]' (line 349)

To Summon Items:
1. Press the Tab key ('type' command) or use the ~key to pull down the console
2. Type ' adminlogin yourpasswordhere '
3. If successful, the message "yourplayername BECAME A SERVER ADMINISTRATOR" will appear
4. Hit the Tab key again or with the console still open, type ' cheatplease '
5. If successful, the message "CHEATS ENABLED" will appear
6. To summon type ' summon nameofobject '
7. If successful, the item will appear
8. List of monsters to summon
9. List of objects to summon
10. To summon multiple objects press the Tab key
11. Press the Up Arrow key to scroll through most recent summoned objects
12. Press the Enter  key to repeat summon
13. Repeat steps 10 through 12 until the desired number of objects have been summoned

To Web Administrate A Rune Server:
 1. Locate the Rune.ini file at the top level of the Rune folder
2. Make a backup copy of the Rune.ini file
3. Open Rune.ini file with SimpleText or your favorite text editor
4. To enable remote web administration, locate ‘[UWeb.WebServer]’ (line 576)
5. Change ' bEnabled=False ' to ' bEnabled=True ' (line 582)
6. To set a password for remote web administration via the web, locate '[RuneServerAdmin.RuneServerAdmin]' (line 587)
7. Change ' AdminPassword= ' to ' AdminPassword=yourpasswordhere ' (line 589)
8. Save and close the Rune.ini file
9. Open the TCP/IP Control Panel, located in the Control Panels folder, located inside the System Folder
10. Select and Copy (Command-C) your IP Address from the TCP/IP Control Panel to the clipboard
11. Launch your web browser
12. Paste (Command-V) your IP address into the Address Bar (Explorer) or Location Bar (Netscape) of your web browser
13. Press the Return key
14. If successful, you will be prompted with a webserver login box
15. Enter your Username and Password
16. Click OK or press the Return key
17. If successful, you now have access to the Rune Remote Admin Server
18. If a failure occurs, reconfigure your firewall software to allow access. (Consult the manual accompanying your firewall software).
19. Proceed to step 20

To unlock the hidden Sark skins and Mutators:
1. Open the Rune Folder
2. Locate and open the System folder
3. Locate the RuneI.int file
4. Make a backup copy of the RuneI.int file
5. Open RuneI.int file with SimpleText or your preferred text editor
6. Locate and remove hash marks (' // '-- used for commenting)
7. Example: Before //Object= ,After Object=
8. Do not remove the line feeds (little boxes )
9. Save and close the RuneI.int file
10. If successful, you now have access to all the Sark skins with the exception of Sark Ragnar (Spawn Sark, Sword Sark, Axe Sark, Hammer Sark, Sark Conrack; infamous Cutty Sark skin not included). Plus included are three new Multiplayer game mutators (Axe match, Vampire match and Random Default Inventory).
< br> To remove the Rune of Strength (bloodlust rune):
1. Press the Tab key ('type' command) or pull down the console using the ~key
2. Type ' adminlogin yourpasswordhere '
3. If successful, the message 'yourplayername BECAME A SERVER ADMINISTRATOR' will appear
4. Press the Tab key again or with the console still open, type ' cheatplease '
5. If successful, the message 'CHEATS ENABLED' will appear
6. Type ' killall runeofstrength '

To play Rune in first person mode:
Method #1
1. Use the Right Bracket key ('camerain' command) to zoom the camera in to maximum
2. Once zoomed in to maximum, press the Right Bracket key one additional time
3. The same works in reverse using the Left Bracket key for an extended view
 
Method #2
1. Press the Tab key ('type' command) or pull down the console using the ~key
2. Type ' behindview 0 '
3. To return to 3rd person mode, type ' behindview 1 ' or use the Left Bracket key

Screen shots are saved in the PICT format to the top level of the Rune folder. Screen shots use the ttxt creator code and will be opened in SimpleText when double clicked.
